Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th of June Chef Stefan Holmstrøm pays us a visit, and during these days he will take us on a gastronomical journey through Swedish flavors and traditions.
For many years he has been running Mahults Herrgård, a culinary pearl situated in the southern part of Sweden.
Chef Holmstrøm has played a central role in the history of Swedish cooking.
He participated in the opening of restaurant Johanna in the 70’s; that became the leading Swedish restaurant throughout that decade. After 10 successful years he decided to open his own place; restaurant Stefan Holmstrøm, that soon after was considered among top 10 of restaurants in Sweden.
For his continuous work and influence he has been rewarded several awards of honor, among them Werner Vøgels award of honor and the gold medal of Tore Wretmans. He has been honored by the royal king and queen for his culinary thoroughness and his continuously support of local quality products.
Stefan Holmstrøm is one of the most highly respected chefs in Scandinavia and this evening he has created a grand menu based on only the best of Swedish traditional flavors and products.
We are proud to finally present Stefan Holmstrøm at Tenuta San Pietro and hope that as many as possible will find the opportunity to experience and enjoy this culinary event.
